In November, Bird Outdoors and Navigation with Harriet ran an Introduction to Navigation Weekend in the Peak District. We were blessed with dreamy light and a wonderful group of women keen to learn hill skills with us. Suitcase Magazine picked up on the weekend, and profiled the work of Bird Outdoors, Harriet and a whole host of other trailblazing groups and individuals who are working to make the outdoors more accessible and inclusive. I’m delighted for them that they were included in the article and thrilled when my photos from the weekend, which you can see here, were chosen to illustrate the article, as working for good people to show off the good things they’re doing is a central value in my work.
