Windermere Jetty Museum

I am lucky to live close to the Windermere Jetty Museum, designed by Carmody Groarke architects and shortlisted for the 2021 Stirling Prize, the biggest architectural prize in the UK. I loved the use of materials, from the warm wood panelling in the interiors and the pressed steel cladding cloaking the building. A gem of a building in an ethereal setting.
