Shooting Kendal’s first Pride Festival was a pretty special experience. Centered around the outdoors, the weekend saw everything from a hike, bike, drumming session, yoga, swim, climb, film festival to of course a party. The weather was abysmal, the rain tried its best to wash away the glitter but the town was filled with rainbow umbrellas, flags and so much warmth. Showing up authentically as myself on both sides of the lens was more than just a privilege, it felt like coming home. Bring on next year!
